Thank you for supporting the 2021 Evening of Pawsibilities by bidding, buying, voting, donating, and sponsoring! Because of our generous supporters, we received approximately $110,000 for homeless animals, more than we ever have through this event! We are deeply grateful for every member of the Second Chance family who came to the event, watched via the live stream, and participated remotely. Your life-saving gifts to the animals will ensure that stray and abandoned cats and dogs get the second chances to find love that they need and deserve.

THE EVENT.

Second Chance Pet Adoptions’ 21st annual Evening of Pawsibilities returns as an in-person event at the newly-renovated Embassy Suites hotel in Cary on the evening of September 18. Join us from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. for a complimentary cocktail hour (thanks to our friends at Tito’s Handmade Vodka), dinner, and dessert; silent and live auctions; a Wine Pull (score a pricey bottle at a steal) and raffle (the prize is a $1,500 Visa gift card); and a photo booth and visits with furry friends!

THE AUCTIONS.

For those who are unable to join us in-person, you’ll be able to register for free and purchase raffle tickets and bid in the silent auction (OPEN NOW HERE and closing 8:30 p.m. Eastern on Sat., Sept. 18) as usual, but NEW this year, you’ll be able to bid in the live auction (7:30 – 8:00 p.m. Eastern on Sat., Sept. 18) from home (or wherever you may be that evening) and get in on the fun through the professional live stream coming straight to you from the venue Saturday night, 7:30 – 9:15! (The stream is free to access, though anyone who makes a contribution towards the cost of the stream will be entered to win a $100 gift card.) THE CONTEST.

Now, pet parents can submit photos of their cats and dogs looking furbulous and red-carpet ready and have their friends and family vote for their pet; the cat and the dog with the most votes (to be announced at the event) will each win a $100 Amazon gift card! Plus, your pets’ photos will be shown on the big screen at the front of the ballroom to add some festive flair to the evening!
